Family and Community Services for Adults

Seniors Network 65+
Local senior residents meet, network and learn new things together. Activities include cooking, art, writing, computer literacy and volunteerism. Current volunteers come in each Wednesday morning and prepare coffee and breakfast – they hold raffles to help cover the cost of supplies.

Housing and Eviction Prevention Counseling
The Eviction Prevention/Tenant’s Rights program provides direct assistance and advocacy services to households facing eviction and landlord/tenant issues that threaten the affordability and living conditions of their home. Intervention on behalf of families prevents homelessness and displacement of vulnerable tenants while preserving decent affordable housing stock on the Upper West Side. Easy access to accurate information and resources ensure that tenants are protected from escalating rents and losing their homes.

Walk-in clinic hours at our Central Office: Mondays and Thursdays (excluding holidays), 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
