Summer Camp 2021

Dear West Side Commons Family,

We have begun accepting applications for summer day camp. An application for your child is linked below (online form). If you need additional forms, you can view them here or come to our office and pick up the additional forms you need.

As you begin to make summer plans for your child(ren), we know that the health and safety of your child(ren) are of the utmost importance. We have been working diligently to follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) protocols to ensure the safety of everyone who comes to The Commons.

Here are some of the ways we make The Commons’ space safe for everyone:

  • Our program staff and participants will practice social distancing
  • Children will not be allowed to eat or drink from the same container
  • There are hand sanitizing stations in each room
  • Staff will carry hand sanitizers and extra masks, and first aid kits when leaving the building.
  • Everyone must wear masks placed adequately on their face for maximum protection.
  • CDC screening questionnaires and temperatures are taken before anyone can enter The Commons.
  • Water fountains will not be used. Children will be provided with bottled water.
  • We have staff assigned to clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces (door handles, sink handles, toilets, tables, chairs, computers)
  • Campers’ personal belongings will be kept separate. Each will have their own sealed container for clothes, school bags, program supplies we will provide (markers, glue, scissors etc)

Staying safe during the COVID-19 pandemic has been and will continue to be a priority for us.

Operating a safe space program ensures everyone has a summer filled with fun and friends.

Ready to register? Click below to get the application, or a full packet with our announcement letter to share with friends and family.

We look forward to seeing you at camp!
